Kelly Laws, Founder and CEO of Kelly E Laws Global is an author, teacher, speaker, mentor, purpose coach, and an entrepreneur. Kelly was born and raised in Gary, Indiana to the parents of James Otis and Joyce An Laws. She was very passionate about beauty and fashion as a young girl and had a desire to become a fashion buyer and own a string of hair salons. As young girl she knew she had a call on her life to do a powerful work for God that would affect her destiny. Growing up she used her naturally creative gifts to bless others especially in beauty and fashion.
Kelly attended Indiana University Northwest and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. But a strange thing happened in 1994 while still in college that led Kelly to an assignment that would forever change her life and the life of those around her. She became a substitute teacher and found her niche. This was part of God's plan for her life which led her to educate youth for 30 years. However, her world changed on December 13, 2023 when the Lord asked Kelly for her yes. Several months later on March 9, 2024, that yes led Kelly to retire, pack up her belongings, and move to NYC to follow the dreams and assignment God had planned for her life. This move would forever change her life, her destiny, and her legacy.
On June 6, 2024 while trying to figure out her next move while living in NYC, the Lord spoke to Kelly under the Brooklyn Bridge and told her to share her faith walk on social media to encourage her listeners. This led to a powerful ministry on Tiktok and on Youtube called, "From the Pit to the Palace!" She teaches her viewers how to walk in purpose and apply the Word of God to their lives in real-time. Kelly just recently authored a powerful journal called, "In Assignment On Purpose" where she teaches her readers how to prepare for their purpose and their assignment.
Kelly is also currently mentoring women helping them discover who they are and how to live according to their original design and is also authoring another journal titled, "Declarations That Will Catapult You Who You Be!"
This is just the beginning! Kelly is planning her first conference/book tour in August 2025 in NYC focusing on her book In Assignment On Purpose! Not forgetting her education background, Kelly has plans to use her influence and gift as a teacher to help parents create homeschooling programs to educate their children. She is also planning to launch a skincare, beauty, clothing and jewelry line. Kelly also has other books to author, plays to write, and other business ventures as she lives out her life in assignment on purpose!
